Description
This is the start of climbing season ritual for Mt. Yudono, one of the peaks of the Dewasanzan mountain range. The Massive boulder that offers fresh spring waters from below is regarded as the Shintai, or object of worship. The festival is to pray for the safety of those who climb the mountain.
