Description
This festival is to cleanse one's self of a half a year's worth of sins and tarnish and to pray for a trouble free six months to come. Go through the large Chinowa (ring made of reed)set up in front of the shrine three times in alternating directions and then make a final prayer at the main hall. Don't forget to receive a chinowa charm to hang by the front door of your home.
