Description
Modeled after the festival of Tsushima Main Shrine (Tsushima City, Aichi), The Paper Lantern Festival of Shimizu is a Gion festival held to celebrate the deity of Indra (Gozu Tenno). Candles are lit in more than 200 "chochin" paper lanterns.
