Description
This festival feature the traditional Bon Odori, a ritual where paper prayer lanterns are set afloat down stream, and fireworks. The dance Bon Odori is a tradition that has been carried down orally through the generations and has over 350 years of history. It has high cultural value as it depicts the lives of ancestors as if frozen in time.
