Description
Large lantern floats known as Kiriko, decorated entirely with lacquer and carvings are known to be extra lavish among the other Kiriko in the Noto region. Furthermore, the valuable "Hayafune-kyogen" performed during the festival is a popular event, carrying down the culture of Edo period.
