The Takashiba Deko Yashiki in Nishida area of Koriyama City is the birthplace of Miharukoma and Miharu Hariko style dolls. The "deko" in Deko Yashiki stands for "dolls". Here you have the chance to view locals perform folk dances in masks of the same style depicting things like the beloved ugly fellow Hyottoko and the seven gods of good fortune.
