Description
Ganzan Daishi, his other name is Ryogen, used a sacred and secret healing method to help the suffering of the townsfolk. A goma fire pit bowl that was placed upon the subjects head resembled a "suribachi" (a grinding bowl), to where the name of this festival came from. You won't see any other festival like it anywhere else.
