Description

This started from the historical tale of an elderly woman picking Shobu (sweet flag flower) from the river bed to present as an offering to the Naniwa Shrine after it was founded in its current location. During festival dates, a Kagura depiction of the picking of the flowers called Shobu Kari is performed by two shrine maidens.
