Description
The official name is Shunie at Nigatsu-do Hall of Todai-ji Temple. Every night, for two weeks, priests holding pine torches run through the corridors of Nigatsu-do. It is said that if you are rained down upon by the torch sparks, the year will be full of happiness for you.
