Description
The Old Hatsu Uma Festival is centered mainly around wishes and prayers. In the Ema (wooden prayer decorations) Competition, elementary and middle school children, as well as adults, draw and write prayers on the Ema, which are then displayed for a week. Traditional ceramic artists of Kasama also participate.
