Description
The main participants of this festival are the 40 to 42 year old and 25 year old men with bad luck for that year. The fire burns until the next morning, whereupon the villagers bring mochi and nets to cook them on. It is said that if you eat the mochi cooked over the festival flame you will not catch a cold for a whole year.
