Description
The Mibu no Hana Taue is the traditional event where locals pray for the smooth and rich harvest of rice. There are over 10 decorated cows and 80 saotome (rice planting girls) and accompanying music and chanting for this Hana Taue festival, making it the largest in its class. It is also designated as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Property.
