Description
The"Kuruma no (by car) chinowa-kuguri" is a sacred ceremony during "Nagoshi no Oharae (Great Summer Purification)" held on June 30th, in which you are purified of all unknowingly committed sins and impurities, by driving through a chinowa (hoop made of woven Kaya grass) in a car. A chinowa charm is gifted to attendees.
