Description
This festival has been going on since 1831. Every year, four young locals train in mental discipline by confining themselves in the Samegawa Shrine, repeatedly pouring cold water over their heads and then topping it off with a purification bath in the Tsugaru Strait on the 15th, all so as to pray for a good crop and fish harvest.
