Description
This festival is held during the blooming season of the Edo Shobu (sweet flag) flower from late May to early June. The Shobu Matsuri includes the Edo Sweet Flag Hatsukari Ritual. Shinto priests dressed in white carry freshly picked Shobu flowers, while the shrine maidens perform elegant dances as offerings.
