Description
Insect dolls lead the way in this parade that also features the Arauma dance and Tachifuri ritual for this traditional town parade held in hopes of welcoming in a rich harvest of grain and warding off disease and disaster. It is said to be the original form of all the Mushi Okuri of the Tsugaru region.
